Porzio Life Sciences InfoCenter Update: Vermont 2022 Compliance Officer Form Due April 1, 2023

The Vermont Attorney General's Office ("AG's Office") has posted the 2022 Compliance Officer Form on its website. Manufacturers of prescribed products that have distributed samples, made allowable expenditures or given permitted gifts between January 1 and December 31, 2022, must complete and file the 2022 Compliance Officer Form and submit a $500 registration fee to the AG's Office by April 1, 2023.

A "Compliance Officer" is the person responsible for the manufacturer’s compliance with the reporting requirements for the applicable reporting period. Companies may designate multiple individuals if different individuals handle reporting. The Compliance Officer Form is available on the AG's Office website here and must be submitted electronically. 

The registration fee must be in the form of a check, made payable to "Office of Attorney General, Attn: Public Protection Division" and mailed to:

 Since April 1, 2023, falls on a Saturday, the AG’s Office has confirmed that it will accept applications until Monday, April 3, 2023.
