Porzio Life Sciences VP Christopher DePhillips Elected to NJ State Assembly

Christopher P. DePhillips, Vice President and General Counsel of Porzio Life Sciences, LLC (PorzioLS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the law firm, Porzio, Bromberg, & Newman (Porzio), was elected to the New Jersey State Assembly during the legislative elections held on November 7, 2017. Along with running mates incumbent state Sen. Kristin Corrado (R-Passaic) and Assemblyman Kevin Rooney (R-Bergen), DePhillips will serve New Jersey Legislative District 40. 

Chris is an attorney and has practiced law for the past 25 years. He is a 1987 graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. From 1987 to 1989, he served as a Legislative Assistant and Assistant Press Secretary to Republican U.S. Rep. Marge Roukema in Washington, D.C. He is a Member of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, an invitation-only legal defense organization.

Chris and his family have been residents of Wyckoff Township for 15 years where he served as Deputy Mayor in 2011, and as Mayor in 2012. Chris also served on the Wyckoff Environmental Commission from 2013 to 2017 and was a member of the Board of Community Blood Services, the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Wyckoff Education Foundation.
