As life sciences companies struggle to meet the requirements of the Physician Payment Sunshine Act, Porzio AggregateSpendID alleviates the burden of compliance with its innovative technology and built-in regulatory features.

The aggregate spend reporting system collects expense data from source systems, aggregates data based on governmental regulations, and generates reports on healthcare provider and healthcare organization interactions.

Porzio Pharmaceutical Services and MedPro Systems proudly announce the release of Porzio AggregateSpendID Version 2.6, which delivers enhanced features and flexibility to strengthen the compliance programs of our pharmaceutical, medical device, and biologic customers.

According to John Patrick Oroho, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of PPS, “We are fortunate to have customers who are industry leaders.  Working alongside them, forging practical solutions for aggregate spend compliance, enables us to identify the needs of the entire market.  Version 2.6 is the result of a collaborative approach, not only to regulatory changes, but to the impact of those changes on our customers.”

As observed by Ray Ungemach, Vice President of MedPro, “With this latest version of Porzio AggregateSpendID, PPS and MedPro have added powerful functionality to the application, furthering our position as leaders in the aggregate spend solutions market.”

The Porzio AggregateSpendID team developed Version 2.6 in response to evolving regulatory requirements, including pending federal legislation resulting from the Affordable Care Act.  Our team is committed to bolstering the system’s functionality in preparation for the release of regulations and guidance from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Version 2.6 enhancements include new technology that simplifies the manual entry of expense information and expands the system’s ad hoc reporting capabilities.  Among other beneficial new features, Version 2.6 includes powerful aggregation functionality related to healthcare organizations, and enhanced business rule enforcement during automatic data feeds from customers spend capture systems.
